On June 10, on the A4 highway near Gols (Austria), a passenger car collided with a motorhome consisting of a car and a caravan. The caravan was completely destroyed, several people sustained minor injuries. Traffic towards Hungary was disrupted.
The restaurant and shop at the Falkensteiner Camping Wörthersee in Klagenfurt have been taken over by restaurateur Manuel Wutscher. The venue will operate daily from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, offering regional cuisine including pizza and pasta, and will be open to both campsite guests and external visitors. A soft opening is planned for late June, with an official opening in mid-July.

Police confirmed the camp is permitted while one of the children receives hospital care. Graz has not issued a local ordinance banning illegal camping, so the settlement is not prohibited.
On June 7, 2026, on the A2 motorway near Markt Allhau, Austria, a motorhome driven by a 60-year-old woman overturned after a tire blowout. Both occupants were uninjured. Traffic toward Vienna was closed for about an hour, causing a seven-kilometer traffic jam.
