A 46-year-old man from Homeland, California, was arrested on June 12 after sheriff's deputies found a loaded shotgun, a .45 caliber handgun, and over a quarter pound of methamphetamine in his motorhome at Lake Piru Campground. The arrest followed a domestic disturbance call on June 11 and a subsequent search warrant. The suspect was booked on multiple felony charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale and unlawful firearm transfer, but was released on bail the same day. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.

The Goodrich City Council discussed expansion of an RV park, road conditions, and an alderman vacancy. Ponderosa RV Park was approved to expand to 100 RV-only sites, without tiny houses.
