On May 10, 2026, at around 2:10 PM, a 63-year-old female driver veered into oncoming traffic on the B31 near Titisee-Neustadt and collided with a motorhome driven by a 60-year-old man. Both vehicles were disabled and towed away. The motorhome's occupants were trapped and freed by rescue services; the 61-year-old female passenger was airlifted to a hospital, while the motorhome driver and the car driver were taken by ambulance. The B31 was fully closed during the accident investigation.
