Motorhome crashes through fence onto airport runway in Abbotsford
A 53-year-old man from Abbotsford, British Columbia, drove a motorhome through a perimeter fence onto a runway at Abbotsford International Airport on July 25, as an aircraft was preparing to land. The control tower issued an emergency climb-and-turn command to the pilot. Police detained the driver within five minutes; no injuries were reported. Investigators have ruled out alcohol or drug impairment.

Canadian manufacturer Leisure Travel Vans has introduced the Wonder model in the Murphy Bed Lounge configuration. Built on the latest Ford Transit chassis, the motorhome is 7.54 m long. Its key feature is the patented Leisure Lounge system: two power-reclining armchairs that transform at night into a 165×188 cm bed. A slide-out module increases interior space when parked. The separate shower measures 86×86 cm with a curved glass screen. Fresh water tank capacity is 127 L, exterior storage is 923 L. The engine is a 3.5 L V6 EcoBoost producing 314 hp. Price in the US starts at $210,000.

Travel trailer destroyed in Laurentian Valley collision
A travel trailer was destroyed Sunday afternoon when it struck farm machinery on Round Lake Road near Bucholtz Road in Laurentian Valley, Ontario. The SUV towing the trailer and the tractor with equipment collided around 2:15 p.m., causing the trailer to disintegrate. No injuries were reported.

Campervan owner helps family with injured mother on Haida Gwaii
On Haida Gwaii (British Columbia), a solo female van-lifer assisted a family whose mother hit her head and lost memory. The incident occurred at Hayden Turner Campground, where 911 was unavailable. The woman drove the injured mother and three children to the hospital, then returned to her chores.
Alberta brothers turn salvaged RVs into Prime Video series
Jagger and Dawson Glowatsky from Vegreville, Alberta, launch a six-episode series 'Young Farts Trailer Parts' on Prime Video on July 17. The show, executive produced by Jacob Tierney and directed by Brent Hodge, follows the brothers as they buy damaged RVs, salvage parts, and flip trailers.
