Gas station attendant extinguishes motorhome fire on highway

A motorhome caught fire on February 3, 2026, at the intersection of Route 228 and Monteagudo Avenue. An attendant from the Axion service station was first on the scene with a fire extinguisher, followed by volunteer firefighters who performed cooling operations.
