Two JMC-based campers: new Qilang Lantu 4×4 and a used pop-top model

On July 7, 2026, about 700 motorhomes gathered at the Yijia RV campsite in the Baili Dujuan Scenic Area, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. The gathering coincides with the minor heat (Xiaoshu) solar term and is part of the local government's summer tourism development initiative.

From July 9 to 11, a free outdoor festival featuring motorhomes, camping, sports, markets and cultural activities will be held on the lawn east of Baikang Bridge in Kangbashi District, Ordos. The event runs daily from 10:30 a.m. to late night, with eight themed zones including motorhome displays, camping area, outdoor industry exhibition, fitness zone, lawn market and street photography spots. Daytime activities include eco-friendly bottle exchange for blind boxes, specialty coffee, intangible heritage workshops, live music, yoga, frisbee and tennis. Xiaomi has released the first official images of the Sky Nomad N90 hybrid SUV. The model is about 5.3 m long with a 3.1 m wheelbase and uses an EREV system with a 1.5L turbo engine as a generator and two electric motors. The battery capacity exceeds 70 kWh, providing an electric range of 400–500 km and a combined range of over 1,500 km. The interior can be reconfigured into a sleeping area, workspace, or mini-café thanks to sliding and rotating seats. Configurations with 5 or 7 seats are available. A roof tent is integrated, and high-power outlets are provided in the cabin.

The third Chongqing International Motorhome and Camping Exhibition will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2021, at Xiushu Auto Camping Park in Bishan. Nearly 200 exhibitors are expected. The event features motorhomes, camping gear, outdoor activities, and forums on campground development and travel routes. According to the China Motorhome Rental Association, the motorhome and camping market in China is projected to exceed 1 trillion yuan by 2025.

Sina published a detailed 7-day motorhome itinerary for families in the Hulunbuir grasslands (Inner Mongolia). The route covers about 1600 km with a daily drive of 200–300 km, designed for a slow travel pace. Highlights include the Morigele River valley, Aoluguya reindeer tribe, Erguna wetlands, the border road along the Argun River, Manzhouli city, and Hulun Lake. Activities include deer feeding, horseback riding, dairy making, and stargazing. In peak season (July–August), average temperatures are 18–22 °C. Campsites in Hailar, Erguna, and Manzhouli offer water and electricity. A C1 driver's license is sufficient. Estimated cost for a family of three for 7 days is 8000–12000 yuan.

Juxin has launched the BYD Wuyou 3.0 hybrid motorhome based on a BYD chassis. It features a 1.5L hybrid engine, 55.39 kWh battery, 12 kWh auxiliary battery, 1170 W solar panels, 300 L fresh water and 120 L grey water tanks. The motorhome seats six and sleeps 3–4, with full household appliances. Dimensions: 5995×2380×3070 mm, wheelbase 3360 mm, drivable with a standard car license.
