A new campground at the John and Nancy Owen Fishing Access Site on the Bitterroot River will open Friday, June 5. It features four basic campsites, picnic tables, fire pits, and a restroom. All sites are first-come, first-served. The expansion was made possible by a 6.25-acre land donation from the neighboring Fort Owen Ranch in 2021.
