Motorhomes were utilized in the aftermath of the Noto Peninsula earthquake in January 2024. According to Carstay and the Japan RV Association, approximately 150 motorhomes were deployed in the disaster area. They served as accommodation for NGO staff, medical personnel, and local government workers, with self-contained heating and toilets proving particularly valuable.
