Acadia National Park allows dogs on most trails and carriage roads, except lakes that serve as public water supplies. North Cascades National Park only permits dogs on the Pacific Crest Trail, with mandatory B.A.R.K. rules: bagging waste, leash no longer than 6 feet, respecting wildlife, and knowing allowed areas.
