The Hallasan National Park Management Office in Jeju Province announced a special crackdown on unauthorized entry and illegal camping from July 24 to August 23. Patrols will be intensified on Friday nights and weekends, focusing on the Baengnokdam summit area and parking lots along Routes 516 and 1100. Violators face criminal charges or fines.

The 2026 Andong Su Festa will be held from July 25 to August 2 on the Nakdong River bank in Andong. Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on July 23 that it will operate a temporary campsite called 'Han River Bam-ping' (Night+Camping) at Yeouido and Ttukseom Hangang Parks throughout August. The campsite will be open daily from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m., with 200 tent spaces available. Use of the site is free but requires advance booking via private platforms.
