Meeting VW au Château de Rolle 2026

The Meeting VW au Château de Rolle is a weekend gathering of Volkswagen Bus and van enthusiasts at the historic Château de Rolle on the shores of Lake Geneva in the canton of Vaud. Organised by the Schweizer VW Bus Club, the event combines the elegance of a lakeside château setting with the casual warmth of Swiss VW culture.

The vineyard-lined shores of Lake Geneva provide a uniquely romantic backdrop for classic VW vans, Campers and Transporters. Participants enjoy lakeside camping, wine-country walks, and the opportunity to explore one of Switzerland's most scenic corners with fellow Bulli enthusiasts.

Winterthur voters reject camping renovation, AL launches new initiative

In a referendum, 53% of Winterthur residents voted against renovating the Schützenweiher campsite. The city council sees no legal path to allow permanent camping there. In response, the Alternative List (AL) party, together with campsite residents, launched an initiative demanding a new camping project with at least one-third of the area designated for alternative housing.
