Campsite in Lingen attracts visitors with location at three bodies of water

The 'Camping am Wasserfall' campsite in Lingen-Hanekenfähr (Lower Saxony) is situated between the Ems River, the Dortmund-Ems Canal, and the hotel at the waterfall. The site offers about 400 parcelled pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, plus a day-use area. Facilities include an outdoor pool, children's playgrounds, bike and canoe rentals, and the 'Ems-Island' restaurant at the adjacent hotel. The campsite has been operating since the 1960s and attracts many visitors each year.

Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf: Ticket sales start for world's largest camping trade fair

The Caravan Salon, the world's largest trade fair for mobile travel, will take place in Düsseldorf from August 28 to September 6, 2026. Ticket prices remain unchanged from last year: weekend adult tickets cost €20, weekday tickets €18. Over 750 exhibitors will showcase products across 15 halls, including new focus areas for off-road motorhomes in halls 16 and 17 and a dedicated section for roof tents in hall 7a.
