In Bolu, Muay Thai trainer Sabri Damar (61) converted a 51-year-old truck into a motorhome. The 1975 model vehicle was found as scrap in Konya, fully restored, and registered for road use. Damar claims it is the only such vehicle in Turkey.

A teacher from Adana, Burcu Güven, had her tiny house worth 1.65 million Turkish liras stolen while she was on vacation in Bali. Police found the house in a warehouse in Sarıçam district and returned it to the owner. The suspect is still at large.
The Bursa Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) on June 26, 2026, approved the use of a plot in Ürünlü neighborhood, Nilüfer district, as a designated caravan storage facility. This follows a previous ban on long-term caravan parking around Hüdavendigar City Park in Osmangazi. The measure aims to prevent haphazard parking and provide secure storage.
The municipality of Ayvalık has prohibited parking of motorhomes and caravans on streets and coastal roads outside official caravan parks. The decision follows reports of long-term, disorderly parking that blocked public spaces, left litter, and obstructed residents. Enforcement will be increased, and traffic signs will be installed.
Bursa's UKOME unanimously banned caravan parking around Hüdavendigar Park and several streets after resident complaints. Enforcement is split between traffic police for vehicles over 750 kg and municipal police for lighter ones.
