In Zhuolan Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan, the glamping site 'Xiaoxiang Qingfeng' (小巷清風) has opened, featuring exclusively Airstream travel trailers — the only such site in Asia. It offers 22-foot and 28-foot models with full amenities. Packages start at NT$8,200 for a two-person Bambi 22-foot trailer and NT$9,800 for a Flying Cloud 28-foot trailer, including one night's stay and three meals.

Japanese guide father teaches children independence through motorhome and bicycle travel

Japanese tour guide Huang Bozheng, known as 'Crazy Dad', together with his wife and three children, completed a 30-day motorhome trip around Taiwan in 2021 and a 22-day bicycle tour in 2022. In 2025, he led a cycling trip for his elementary school graduate son and classmates. The family embraces 'inconvenience': camping without water or electricity, bathing in wild hot springs, and using natural materials for play. Children learn to use knives at age three and fire at five. The father believes nature fosters independence, teamwork, and resilience.

Crosscamp 541: 5.4m motorhome launched in Taiwan from 3.58 million NTD

Taiwan distributor Ouma Enterprise unveiled the Crosscamp 541 at the TAS 2026 show in Taichung. Prices start at 3.58 million Taiwan dollars, with a pop-up roof version from 3.86 million. The 5.41m model features a modular cabin with 14 layout options and an optional certified tow hitch.
