Motorhome parking spaces ready on former bandy field in Sjötorp

In Sjötorp (Mariestad Municipality), the conversion of a former bandy field into motorhome parking and car parking has been completed. This aims to ease traffic congestion at a popular tourist destination that suffered from a lack of parking during summer months. Previously, only about 50 spaces were available near the canal, leading to chaos. According to Martin Stenlund, land and development manager, the new spaces reduce the risk of illegal parking and make the area more functional.

Padel courts in Västervik to be replaced by motorhome parking

Pampas marina has been granted permission to demolish padel courts on Barlastgatan in Västervik and build 16 motorhome parking spaces (ställplatser). The project includes reconfiguring an existing parking lot and constructing a new service building with toilets, showers, laundry, and a waste dumping station. Environmental and building officials recommended rejecting the application as it conflicts with the detailed development plan, but a majority of the committee voted to approve it in full.

Primus launches Moto Stove camping stove for campervans and rooftop tents

Swedish outdoor brand Primus has introduced the Moto Stove, a two-burner camping stove designed for van-lifers, rooftop tent users, and campervan owners. The stove features two 4,400W burners with independent flame controls, wraparound windscreens, and a Piezo igniter. Its slim, foldable design allows compact storage in a car boot or campervan. Available now at Primus UK and EU for £130 / €160.

Swedish motorhome Kabe Novum Traq 750 LGB gets all-wheel drive

Kabe has introduced its first partially integrated motorhome with all-wheel drive, the Novum Traq 750 LGB. Based on the Mercedes Sprinter with selectable 4×4, the vehicle features increased ground clearance and off-road tires. The motorhome is 7.44 meters long with a gross vehicle weight of up to 4.1 tons. Inside, it offers longitudinal single beds at the rear that can be combined into a double bed, along with an insulated double floor and water tanks holding approximately 170 liters. The price is around 150,000 euros.
