American entrepreneur David Green is launching production of compact camper trailers Kampy R.V. EAS in Paraguay with support from the Vice Ministry of SMEs. The product is a collapsible trailer with 14-inch tires and 30 cm ground clearance, adaptable to different vehicles. The project reflects a trend of attracting foreign investment to Paraguayan industry.
Kia unveiled the PV5 electric van with a modular kit from VanLab that transforms it into a camper in five minutes without tools. The kit costs about $2000 and includes a bed and kitchen.
An event for motorhome and travel trailer owners is scheduled from April 2 to 5 in Puerto Aragón. It is organized by APUBE with the invitation of the Barrancas Commune. The general admission fee is $30,000 per team for the four-day event.

A motorhome caught fire on February 3, 2026, at the intersection of Route 228 and Monteagudo Avenue. An attendant from the Axion service station was first on the scene with a fire extinguisher, followed by volunteer firefighters who performed cooling operations. The incident resulted in no injuries, with damage limited to the vehicle's electrical system and the driver and passenger seats.
Former journalist Ramón Duarte started building motorhomes in Paraguay, while a US owner converted a Lamborghini Urus into a camper for a round-the-world trip.
Argentine choreographer Flavio Mendoza has showcased his motorhome, which serves as a mobile home for him and his son during circus tours. The vehicle features a two-level layout, a modern kitchen with high-end appliances, a fireplace, and a bedroom on the upper level. It is parked next to the circus tent to accommodate his work schedule.
