A fire broke out in a caravan in Greece, killing a woman. A man who was in the same caravan was rescued but is in shock. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Greece's Council of State rejected a Swedish company's claim for compensation over a motorhome confiscated after being used to smuggle eight undocumented migrants. The vehicle was rented in Sweden in 2002, the driver arrested in Patras, and the motorhome forfeited to the Hellenic Air Force. The company sought €87,596 but all courts found no unlawful omission by Greek authorities.
A family of four (Irish and French nationals) crashed their motorhome on the Ionia Odos highway in Greece. The vehicle hit guardrails, trapping the driver. Rescuers freed them and took them to Arta General Hospital, where all were treated within an hour.
Residents of Porto Rafti found an abandoned caravan on Agiou Nikolaou street, left next to garbage bins. The incident occurred on a site that had been cleaned by municipal services of Markopoulo the day before.
