Abbotsford Police have identified a person of interest in connection with a suspicious travel trailer fire on June 16, 2026. The fire occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. at the Whatcom Park & Ride lot, which also serves as a homeless encampment. No injuries were reported. The same location was the scene of a fatal shooting in March 2026.

Forest River is recalling Salem and Wildwood travel trailers from model years 2024–2026 due to faulty wiring in the fireplace electrical outlet, which may cause overheating and fire. Owners should stop using the fireplace and contact a dealer for repair.

Canadian company Moonlit Campers from Whistler has unveiled a camper van based on the Ram ProMaster. The exterior is discreet, but the interior features a Japandi style with Roman clay walls, a slatted ceiling, and wood-effect vinyl flooring. David and Jennifer Sinclair, traveling in a Tiffin Allegro Bus Class A motorhome, lost their Chevy Colorado pickup truck during a fuel stop in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Winnipeg-based clothing company Mondetta has spent $500,000 converting an RV into a mobile showroom for its Modern Ambition brand. The vehicle will travel across Canada, complementing new stores planned for Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. The announcement was made during ScaleUP week, a series of business growth events.
