Residents of the Woodlawn neighborhood in the Bronx are raising concerns about a growing illegal RV encampment along Jerome Avenue, citing issues with illegal dumping and quality of life. Last month, the NYPD cracked down on a similar encampment along Bronx Boulevard, towing nearly 100 vehicles. RV residents like 57-year-old Camille spend up to $160 a week on generators and are calling on the city to create legal parking spaces with access to electricity and sewage hookups.
