At the CMT 2026 trade show in Stuttgart from January 17 to 25, urine from motorhome users will be collected for a research project. Scientists from the University of Stuttgart are developing bio-concrete, which requires 26,000 liters of urine per cubic meter. The process is based on biomineralization, where bacteria convert urea into calcium carbonate to create a solid building material.
