A Service Value study identified ten insurance companies that received the top rating of "very good" from customers. The survey included 2,394 evaluations of 28 providers, assessing product offerings, price-performance ratio, customer service, and claims settlement. Demand for insurance is rising alongside nearly 5,000 new motorhome and caravan registrations in January 2026.

The updated Kia EV6 features an increased permissible trailer mass of 1.8 tons. In the test with a caravan, the model was noted for stable power supply, accurate range prediction, and a complex installation of the tow hitch costing 1001 euros.

Landvergnügen connects travelers with around 2000 farms and vineyards where they can stay, often in exchange for purchases at the local farm shop. Other services like Schau aufs Land, You and a View, and park4night provide similar options in Austria, Slovenia, and beyond, expanding choices for travelers.

German company Ari Motors has introduced an electric camper based on a light commercial vehicle. The 3.82-meter-long model falls into the L7e category, offers 230 km of range, and provides 2.8 m² of living space without furniture. Pricing starts at €30,381 in Germany.

The Sonnencamping site in Albstadt offers 16 motorhome pitches at a price of 16 euros during the high season. Payment is made via a parking ticket machine, with an additional resort tax of 2 euros per adult. Wi-Fi is available for 75 cents per hour, water costs 10 cents per 8 liters, and electricity is charged at 84 cents per kWh.

German company Ari Motors has introduced an ultra-compact electric motorhome based on a light-duty delivery van. The model is about 11.5–12.5 feet long, features a 15-kW electric motor, and offers a range of up to 143 miles. Production is set to begin in May, with a base price starting just over €30,000, and the vehicle is delivered as an empty shell for DIY conversion.
