Evacuations for RV parks in Georgetown after storms, flooding

Williamson County Emergency Services issued a mandatory evacuation order for the area near Shady River RV Resort and GoodWater RV Park in Georgetown due to flooding. The RV Industry Association reported that total RV shipments in April 2026 fell to 29,209 units, a 17.4% decline from 35,375 units in April 2025. Year-to-date shipments through April dropped 13.5% to 115,260 units. Towable RV shipments decreased 20.7%, while motorhome shipments increased 13.0%.
