In Brief

RV SnapPad introduced permanent leveling pads made from recycled commercial truck tire rubber. They offer better load distribution, ground grip, and weather resistance than plastic.

RV SnapPad has launched permanent leveling pads for RV jacks, made from recycled rubber of commercial truck tires. Each pad weighs between 3 and 9 pounds. The pads are manufactured in the USA: tires are shredded, mixed with urethane, and pressed under over 100 tons of pressure.

As of February 2026, the company has recycled approximately 6 million pounds of rubber. Compared to plastic, rubber pads distribute load better, provide ground grip, and resist weather conditions.

Context: RV tire types

Tire type for RVs depends on class and design. Class A motorhomes use commercial truck tires, Class B and most Class C use light truck (LT) tires, while trailers require special trailer (ST) tires due to different loads. These types are not interchangeable.
