NASA has replaced the planned electric vans with a modified Airstream motorhome to transport Artemis II astronauts to the launch pad. The 8-meter-long vehicle, originally from Boeing's Starliner program, was repurposed after the original supplier, Canoo Technologies, filed for bankruptcy. The Airstream, now featuring custom lunar-themed graphics, will be used for the mission scheduled for launch between February and April 2026.
