Michael Keith Kluttz, 55, and Edward Jerome Little, 65, both Duke Energy employees, are accused of illegally tapping into a company substation in Concord, North Carolina. Warrants allege they provided unauthorized power to Ver-El RV Park, a campground across from Charlotte Motor Speedway. The stolen electricity is valued at an estimated $591,000. Both face charges including injury to an energy facility, obtaining property by false pretense, and money laundering; Little also faces weapons charges for an automatic firearm.
