Plans to expand caravan parks face opposition from residents in UK

British workshop Custom Built Campervans converted a Peugeot Boxer L4 into a permanent home for a diver. The key feature is a bed that lowers from the ceiling, freeing up space for gear. The campervan includes a kitchen, bathroom, 628 Ah battery system, and Truma heating.

A camper van caught fire on the M6 northbound between junctions J34 and J35 near Lancaster. Three fire engines from Morecambe, Hornby and Silverdale responded at around 2:50 pm on Friday. Crews used a hose reel, breathing apparatus and small tools to put out the fire within 35 minutes.

From July 6, motorhomes and campervans in Saltburn, England, will be restricted to marked bays on the north side of Marine Parade between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday, with a four-hour limit. Outside these hours and on Sundays, no time restrictions apply. Parking in unmarked areas with single yellow lines is prohibited at all times. North Yorkshire Council retroactively approved three static caravans at Star Carr Farm for six seasonal workers from Poland. The three-year permit was granted due to the inability to hire local staff.
