Kia unveils affordable conversion kit to turn PV5 into a camper van

KG Mobility (KGM) is expanding its brand experience beyond vehicle specifications. The company participates in tuning festivals, local festivals, and sports and leisure exhibitions to showcase the versatility of its models. The updated KGM New Torres features a Terrain Mode system and a new Athena 2.5 infotainment platform.

South Korean automaker KG Mobility (KGM) has attracted attention from outdoor enthusiasts with its Musso pickup. The model is available in two versions: electric Musso EV and new petrol/diesel. The Musso EV features an 80.6 kWh battery, a range of up to 400 km, and fast charging from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes. Payload capacity is up to 500 kg, with V2L function (up to 3.5 kW). The new diesel version (2.2 L, 202 hp) and petrol (2.0 L turbo) offer payload up to 700 kg. The model won the Red Dot Design Award 2026.

Participants of JTBC's 'Divorce Camp' — a couple working as couriers with a combined monthly income of about 10 million won ($8,500) — have zero savings. The husband spent around 160 million won ($136,000) on drones, cameras, and motorhomes, including buying and reselling five motorhomes at a loss of about 100 million won ($85,000). When his wife pointed out the excessive spending, he became aggressive, drawing criticism from the show's hosts.

Gochang County (North Jeolla Province) opened 9 glamping units on June 19 at the Gochang Mudflat Auto Camping Site. The site came under municipal management last August to improve service quality.

Wanju County has replaced 8 old caravans at the Mungunghwa Auto Camping site with new models, investing 500 million won. The upgraded caravans will start operating from July 6.

The Busan Mobility Show 2026 (BIMOS 2026) will run from June 26 to July 5 in Busan, marking its 25th anniversary. Organizers include the city government, BEXCO, KAMA, and KAICA. The exhibition will showcase land, sea, and air mobility solutions, including motorhomes, camper vans, and tuned vehicles. A separate Korea Camping Car Show will be held in Haeundae.
