From July 3 to August 30, 2026, on selected dates, the Ibukiyama Driveway in Gifu Prefecture will operate night hours. Temperatures at the summit can be 10°C lower than at the base. Overnight stays in motorhomes (車中泊) are permitted.

Isuzu Motors announced its participation in the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2026, held June 26–28 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. The booth will display four vehicles: two small trucks Elf Mio (including the custom Elf Mio CROSS STYLE Ver.YAKIMA with Isuzu A&S accessories and YAKIMA products, plus the ELFmio inspired by KEEN demo vehicle) and two campers on dedicated chassis — Travio (CORDE LEAVES by VANTECH) and Be-cam (GeoRoam by Nippon Special Body). The Travio chassis features a 1.9L diesel RZ4E engine with 6-speed AT, is drivable with a standard automatic license, and includes false start prevention and pre-crash braking. The flagship Be-cam chassis offers full-time 4WD, wide cab, long wheelbase, and 9-speed DCT ISIM.

Sega released a 'Before You Buy' trailer for Outbound on June 18, featuring developer commentary on gameplay mechanics. Amakazari Kogen Campground in Nagano Prefecture, located within Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park, will host a three-day event from July 18 to 20, 2026, celebrating its 30th anniversary. The program includes a campfire lecture by master Masaya Ino, a guided climb of Mount Amakazari, a woodworking workshop, and bingo. The site also serves as a local emergency response hub.

Beverly Glamping opened in Kakegawa, Shizuoka Prefecture, on July 4, 2024. Guests stay in authentic American travel trailers from the 1950s–1960s, still bearing California license plates. The site features a whole-meat barbecue and a Western-style cafe-bar under construction, all designed by a former Los Angeles-based auto interior specialist.
