Mackerel, a cat, was rescued along with 40 other cats from an RV in Dayton, Ohio. The animal is now at the Humane Society and available for adoption. Details can be obtained by phone or via the organization's Facebook page.
Lucas Buda, a former participant of 'BBB 24', has been hired by Brazilian YouTube channel A Crítica to cover the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. Together with influencer Matheus Guedes, he is traveling by motorhome between host cities, reporting on behind-the-scenes content, match atmosphere, and local curiosities. Buda, a former physical education and capoeira teacher, moved to Manaus after the show and became a sports presenter on local TV.
Gastón Ortega, born in Ingeniero Jacobacci, Argentina, built a motorhome in Neuquén and set off on a journey across the Americas. Over two years, he visited several countries, including Chile and Venezuela. In the US, he plans to unfurl a giant Argentine flag at Copa América matches. After the tournament, he intends to continue through Central America and return to Patagonia.
Love’s Travel Stops expands RV services: minor repairs at 431 Truck Care stations, oil changes at 275. A partnership with Spartan RV Chassis enables warranty chassis service for Class A motorhomes.
House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Bruce Westerman and Ranking Member Jared Huffman introduced the GAOA 250 bill. It would provide $1.9 billion annually for five years to national parks and public lands. Funding would come from private donations, onshore energy revenue, and new foreign visitor fees. The RV Industry Association backed the bill during Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill.
Mary Pouliot, former executive vice president at Thetford, has been appointed president of The RV Factory and its Luxe Fifth Wheels brand, as announced via a Facebook post. Pouliot brings over two decades of experience in the RV industry from the vendor side.
