TikTok user @miss_whitejuditart bought a used caravan for 1,900 euros and placed it on a plot of land. In a series of videos, she documents the renovation process, including replacing rotten wooden parts, fixing water leaks, and painting 31 cabinet doors. For the kitchen countertop, she uses porcelain tiles and handmade wooden trims to keep costs low. The project is ongoing, with a folding table still to be installed.

The Zestoa city council has finished painting parking spaces for motorhomes and camper vans in the Estación industrial estate. From Friday evening, parking is provisionally available in the blue zone and spots 9–18 of the green zone. Cars and caravans are not allowed. Once all procedures are completed, the area will operate 24/7 with a 72-hour limit and overnight stay permitted, initially free of charge. A wastewater dump point and a time-control machine will be installed, with police patrols to prevent abuse. There are 22 spaces for local motorhomes.

From May 29 to 31, a caravan and motorhome meeting is held in La Laguna de Barlovento, coinciding with Canary Islands Day and Las Cruces festivities. Organized by Caravaning Club La Palma – Isla Bonita, Amigos AC y Campers, and ESAD La Palma, with support from the Cabildo and Barlovento town hall.

A 42-year-old man was taken to Hospital Virgen de Valme after a collision between a car and a motorhome on the AP-4 near Los Palacios. The accident occurred on Thursday shortly before 1:00 PM on the Cádiz-bound lane. The motorhome was heavily damaged, but no extrication was needed. The crash caused hours of slow traffic and congestion in both directions, lasting into the evening.

The traditional Las Cruces festival in La Laguna de Barlovento (La Palma) on May 29–30 will coincide with a regional motorhome rally featuring 96 vehicles from across the archipelago. The event is organized by ESAD, Caravaning Club La Palma Isla Bonita, and Amigos AC Campers Canarias, with support from the Cabildo de La Palma. Local authorities expect the gathering to boost economic activity in retail and hospitality.
