Camping available during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Falls and Ormeau parks

Organisers of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast have confirmed official campsites for visitors. The event, running from 2 to 9 August, is expected to attract around 800,000 attendees. Councillor urges camper van drivers to dispose of waste properly

Irish holiday park wins €25,000 marketing prize

Lynder’s Holiday Park in Roosky, Ireland, is among 14 winners of FBD Insurance’s 2026 SME Advertising Support Campaign. The park will receive a fully funded multi-channel advertising campaign valued at €25,000, including Out of Home, radio, print and digital media placements. Landlord required property as sister's family living in 'small caravan', tribunal hears

A Residential Tenancies Board tribunal ordered a tenant to vacate a property in Co Limerick after the landlord stated his sister, her husband, and four children were living in a 'small caravan' in his garden. The landlord had previously been fined €2,000 for an illegal eviction. The tribunal ruled the sister could not 'continue to live in a caravan indefinitely' and gave the tenant 28 days to leave.

Campervans Reportedly Reducing Parking Revenue in Lahinch

Clare County Councillor Bill Slattery has stated that campervans are reducing revenue from parking charges in Lahinch. The council collected €281,514 in parking fees and fines last year. Slattery believes this figure would be higher if campervan drivers were not competing with regular motorists for spaces. He has called for designated parking for campers in the town.
