Canadian company Vancini Conversions has unveiled the Big Hill Springs project, a camper van built on a 2025 Mercedes Sprinter with all-wheel drive. The model features a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine, nine-speed automatic transmission, and Van Compass Stage 4.3 upgraded suspension. The interior includes custom finishes, a kitchen without a built-in hob, a two-person sleeping area, and a 920 Ah electrical system. The camper is designed for year-round use and adapted for travel across Europe and North America.
Winnipeg-based clothing company Mondetta has spent $500,000 converting an RV into a mobile showroom for its Modern Ambition brand. The vehicle will travel across Canada, complementing new stores planned for Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. The announcement was made during ScaleUP week, a series of business growth events.

Motorhome owners report hazardous road conditions on the North Klondike Highway in Yukon. Jack Hamlin from Edmonton described the stretch from Whitehorse to Dawson City as a 'nightmare of washboard' due to deep potholes and uneven surfaces. Territorial highways minister Linda Benoit attributed the road conditions to chronic underfunding and rising material costs.
In their first year as owners of the Thousand Islands / Ivy Lea KOA Holiday in Ontario, Shawn and Christine Kim raised the Net Promoter Score (NPS) from 29.9 to 70. Portage la Prairie RCMP recovered a stolen motorhome on June 5 following a complaint about erratic behavior. The vehicle was stolen from Winnipeg the previous night. Adrian Shore, 45, was arrested without incident and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
