Starting June 15, 2026, the Brazilian city of Porto Seguro (Bahia state) will charge an environmental protection fee (TPA) for incoming vehicles. The measure was approved by Mayor Jânio Natal in November 2025 and applies to the main urban area as well as the tourist districts of Trancoso and Arraial d’Ajuda. The fee is collected via automatic license plate recognition, without toll booths. Vehicles staying less than 8 hours are exempt, except rental cars. Residents of Porto Seguro and neighboring municipalities (50% discount) are also exempt. Non-payment results in a 50% surcharge. In 2025, the city received about 1.4 million tourists.

The Edwards family from the UK sold their home and bought a motorhome in July 2025. The parents quit traditional jobs and schooling to travel Europe with five children, teaching them independently.

The Roda Riso clown duo, formed by Greice Miotello (clown Gretta) and Allan Ortega (clown Billy), is touring Santa Catarina state in a motorhome. The project aims to deliver 100 free performances across 17 municipalities by September 2026. Shows take place in public institutions and open spaces, targeting schoolchildren and residents of remote areas.

At a Maverik station in Montrose, Colorado, an RV owner mistakenly dumped waste into an underground diesel tank, causing contamination and financial losses.

The 3rd motorhome gathering in Ribeirão Pires (Brazil) runs from July 4 to 7. Over 120 motorhomes have gathered. The program includes music, gastronomy, and charity. Entry is by donation of food or pet supplies.
