‘Groom’s Class 2’: Seo Jun-young and Jung Jae-kyung go camping on Daebudo Island

Authorities in Yuzhnoukrainsk have banned long-term parking of motorhomes and caravans in city areas. The decision follows complaints from residents that campers occupy parking spots for weeks, hindering other drivers. Violators face fines.

Heavy rain that hit Andong and northern Gyeongbuk province late on April 18 and early April 19 led to the evacuation of 74 people from 57 households. Six houses and 11 temporary homes for victims of last year's large wildfires were flooded. In Gwang-eum-ri, two people were rescued from a camper that was swept into a swollen river. No casualties have been reported.

On July 18 at 11:44 p.m., a camper was trapped by rising water at a recreation area in Gwang-eum-ri, Namhu-myeon, Andong, North Gyeongsang Province. The driver and one other person were rescued by firefighters.

Myeongpa Beach in Goseong County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, offers a peaceful alternative to crowded east coast resorts. The beach is near the northern border, close to the Unification Observatory. The auto camping site has 21 deck pitches with electricity and tables, costing 40,000–70,000 won per night. Access is 2.5 hours from Seoul to Sokcho, then 50 minutes north.

In Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, heavy rain caused rivers to swell, flooding a camper and the area around a church. Rescue services evacuated 5 people who were trapped. The incidents occurred on the evening of July 18: around 11:44 p.m., a camper with two people became stranded near a resort in Namhu-myeon, and around 10:59 p.m., three people were isolated due to flooding near a church in Namseon-myeon. No casualties were reported.

In Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, a camping trailer mounted a curb and tilted heavily near the entrance of Gyeongsang National University Hospital. The exact cause of the incident has not yet been determined. The event has renewed focus on trailer towing safety and the issue of long-term roadside parking of such vehicles.
