Netherlands: new automatic wash for campers
Henk Pen, a company specializing in motorhomes and caravans, has installed a SoftCare PRO 32 XL automatic wash at a new facility in Groenlo. The machine is designed for vehicles up to 3.15 m high and features sensors that account for protruding elements such as awnings, antennas and air conditioners. The move from the previous location in Haaksbergen, where washing was done manually, allowed the area to expand to 50,000 sq m. The wash is available by appointment only for customers, including owners of vehicles stored on site.
France: HorizonVan UP camper and Geovan eco-solutions
Breton manufacturer Glénan Concept Cars has introduced the HorizonVan UP camper based on the Renault Trafic. The model is available in two body lengths — 5.08 m (L1) and 5.48 m (L2), with the L2 version capable of carrying up to 7 people thanks to four floor rails. The interior transforms: removable seats, a kitchen with a stove and refrigerator, sleeping areas in the pop-up roof and on the rear bench. Prices start at €53,400 for L1 and €55,400 for L2.
French company Geovan offers modular solutions for converting vans into campers, focusing on affordability and sustainability. Based in Gelos near Pau, the company has been operating since 2020 and completes about 20 projects per year at a cost of €10,000–15,000. Recycled materials and local components are used, and part of the revenue goes to reforestation projects.
