Pernocta, pernoctar, overnight parking Spain, sleeping in vehicle, not camping
Pernocta is the Spanish term for spending the night inside a vehicle without setting up camp outside.
In Spain this distinction matters: pernoctar usually means sleeping in a parked vehicle, while acampar means camping with outdoor equipment such as chairs, awnings, stabilisers or tables, which may be restricted.
