Azami yüklü ağırlık — Turkish maximum laden mass

Weight & Dimensions Türkiye

Azami yüklü ağırlık, AYA Türkiye, gross vehicle weight Turkey, kayıtlı azami ağırlık Türkiye, GVWR Turkey

Azami yüklü ağırlık (AYA) is the Turkish equivalent of GVWR / PTAC / zulässige Gesamtmasse — the maximum permitted loaded mass of a vehicle or trailer as registered in the ruhsat. It drives the required driver-licence class (B up to 3,500 kg; BE/C1 above).

Most motokaravans in Turkey are certified at an AYA of 3,500 kg because that ceiling sits in the popular B-class licence range. Exceeding the AYA carries an administrative fine (amount set by current regulation) and muayene rejection at the next cycle. Changing the AYA (downplating or uprating via AL-KO / SLC) requires an engineer's report, a TÜVTÜRK approval, and a fresh ruhsat.
