Vintage Caravan Rally in La Ferté-Bernard

A regional vintage caravan rally took place at the La Ferté-Bernard campsite (Sarthe) from May 1–3, 2026, organized by the Retro Camping Club de France. About 15 members participated. The oldest caravan on display dated to 1951, with models up to 1977 allowed. Attendees visited local landmarks and the May 2 flea market. One member, 75-year-old Jean-Pierre Gasnot, builds caravans entirely from scratch, starting from the chassis.
