Tech-savvy and compact: the motorhome goes smart

In early 2026, the motorhome market shifted toward compact models under 6 meters, equipped with intelligent systems. Manufacturers introduced LiFePO4 batteries, solar panels, and 3000W inverters, eliminating the need for generators. New models like the Dethleffs Globetrail 600 and Kyros by Caravans International feature transformable interiors and V2L systems for powering external devices. Eco-friendly materials and Level 2 ADAS on Fiat Ducato and Ford Transit chassis were also highlighted.
