Police have implemented a detour via the Route 80 overpass on- and off-ramps on the Trans-Canada Highway near Whitbourne following a serious collision involving at least three vehicles, including an RV. Traffic is moving slowly in both directions, and further lane closures are possible. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and follow police directions.
The municipality of Callander, Ontario, has extended a pilot program allowing overnight parking in two designated municipal lots for ice anglers for the 2026–2027 season. Kamloops Fire Rescue crews responded to a structure fire near McDonald Park on the North Shore on the morning of July 13, 2026.
