Owners of camper vans converted from commercial vans often mistakenly believe they can drive at passenger car speeds. By law, such vehicles, registered as commercial, must adhere to a limit of 90 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on conventional roads, similar to trucks. The municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has presented two potential municipal plots for motorhome parking in the El Burrero area. The proposed plots are 3500 and 2000 square meters in size. It has not yet been decided whether parking will be free or managed by an association with a fee.
