Algerian authorities have banned camping and movement in forest areas from May 1 to October 30, 2026, due to high wildfire risk. Permit valid for up to 90 days, renewable with civil defense approval. License fee is 1,500 SAR, refundable deposit is 1,000 SAR. Fine for unlicensed camping is up to 10,000 SAR.

Environmental security forces detained a citizen for camping without a permit in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Reserve. The violator faces a fine of up to 3,000 Saudi riyals.
