In Brief

Ralitsa Asenova, mother of one of the victims in the 'Petrohan-Okolchitsa' incident, released photos of the camper showing nine holes in the roof hatch, contradicting the prosecution's version of three shots. Former Interior Minister Emil Dechev called for a re-examination.

Ralitsa Asenova, mother of the deceased Nikolay Zlatkov, published photos of the camper where the bodies of three men were found at Okolchitsa. The images show nine holes in the roof hatch, challenging the prosecution's official version of three shots.

Asenova previously pointed out inconsistencies: with three alleged shots and two found shell casings, as well as one bullet remaining in the victim's body, additional traces were found on the camper. She demands clearer answers from the investigation.

Former Interior Minister Emil Dechev stated that if there are more holes, a new inspection must be ordered. He also noted that the minister cannot influence the investigation, and the parents of the victims CAN appeal the prosecutor's decision in court.
