Caravan manufacturer Star Vision closed its Dandenong showroom, citing a water leak. Customers who paid deposits have not received caravans or refunds. The Caravan Industry Association calls it an isolated incident.

South Gippsland Shire Council approved the subdivision of Sandy Point Holiday Park, allowing the construction of 11 dwellings on the site. Local business owner Paddy Annareddy expressed regret, noting the park provided affordable accommodation and attracted over 100 visitors on holiday weekends.
