Miramar, Florida, has approved an ordinance to stop RVs from being used as homes in residential areas. The measure, sponsored by Commissioner Yvette Colbourne, introduces a $300 fine for violations, mandatory RV registration, and inspection rights. About 80 RVs in Historic Miramar were suspected of being used as homes amid the housing crisis.
