Punto limpio — Spanish municipal waste/recycling point

Punto limpio is the Spanish municipal facility for waste management and recycling (electronics, oils, bulky waste, debris, garden waste). For motorhomers, some urban puntos limpios also allow controlled disposal of grey water and toilet chemicals.

They are sometimes located near áreas AC or municipal facilities but are not designed as dedicated dump stations — black water must only be discharged where the municipality explicitly permits it. Always check the ordenanza municipal before dumping. For grey water and chemical toilet waste: look for the «vaciado de aguas residuales» sign and the relevant section of the local ordinance, which varies significantly between towns.
