Área AC — Spanish motorhome service area (abbreviation)

Área AC is the common Spanish abbreviation of "área de autocaravanas" — a public or private motorhome service area with grey/black water dump, fresh-water filling, optional electricity, and authorised overnight parking. Appears that way on signage, maps, and guides.

An área AC differs from a campsite by the absence of camping facilities: no designated pitches, awnings, or tables. Typical fee: €5–15 for services plus overnight, versus €20–80 at a campsite.
