A Bulgarian camper van rented through Camperino went missing on April 29, 2026 near Çanakkale. The driver's phone was off. The vehicle was later found in Turkey with the assistance of the Ministry of Interior.

On the evening of April 29, a parked caravan caught fire on the grounds of a hotel in the İzmit district of Kocaeli. The flames quickly engulfed the vehicle; firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the caravan was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
