A Japanese couple in their 60s, traveling across the country in a camper van, visited the cafe 'Takumi Coffee Eijison Nanju' in Gifu Prefecture. Ordering coffee, they received a thick slice of toast, salad, and a boiled egg at no extra charge. For an additional fee, they could upgrade to a 'rich morning' with French toast or an extra-large toast. The cafe also allowed them to choose bread or drinks as a souvenir to take home. The couple said they were surprised by the generous portions and the local morning culture.

Gizmodo Japan published a roundup of mobile living units, including the GMLVAN V-02 camper based on the Nissan Caravan, the AMAHO LOGOS Edition based on the Daihatsu Hijet Truck, and the Grounded T1 electric tricycle.
