Ceuta Camper Club will hold the III Motorhome Gathering this weekend at the Juan Carlos I Park esplanade, near the paddle courts. Activities include raffles, an outdoor cinema club, a Saturday cake snack, and a Sunday churros-with-chocolate breakfast. A guided cultural tour “La Ceuta Mitológica” is organized with the Tourism Department. The event was postponed due to a wind alert. The club requests understanding for traffic closures until Sunday.

The bridge, with a 2.5-meter height limit, is a recurring site for incidents involving tall vehicles, despite enhanced signage installed in 2021 at a cost of 10,000 euros.

A company has applied for an environmental permit to set up an overnight area for caravans in the Alcolea district of Córdoba. The request was submitted to the Municipal Urban Planning Office and is undergoing environmental assessment. The city already has a similar area near La Salud cemetery and the Los Villares campsite.

Motorhome owners held a protest in Tenerife on April 25, demanding legal parking areas and service points. According to the ACAT association, there are 15,000 registered such vehicles in the Canary Islands, but municipalities often install illegal signs prohibiting their parking. Key demands include the establishment of 'ecological points' for dumping wastewater and refilling clean water, of which there are only two on the island.
